Team leadership, project management, staff development. Leading a team or project requires a blend of knowledge and skills in order to be successful. I have over 15 years of IT experience in leading teams and projects, dealing primarily in healthcare IT projects. Whether in-house staff, remote, contractors, or vendors, I have motivated, developed, and lead teams deliver a variety of products and services in healthcare to improve patient outcomes.

Application development and implementation, deployment, IT infrastructure, cloud solutions and everything in between. I've deployed countless solutions while focusing on cost and utilization, yet maintaining a strong team environment.

Whether it be application management to full out organizing of requirements and leading a team to product execution, I have a range of experience with applications enhancements, creation and management. Seasoned products often need enhancements to maintain relevance, new products need organization and tenacity to be completed and executed.

HIPAA Privacy, Security & Compliance

The modern healthcare IT landscape must embrace its responsibility for security, privacy, and compliance. I've served as privacy/compliance officer, as well as security officer, for organizations responsible for millions of patient records. I've worked with the state in various capacities in working through audit requirements, and have undergone a variety of security, compliance and risk assessments and audits.

I mix the need for privacy and security into every decision I make so that an organization can reach its goals with as little risk as possible to protect both the organization's needs, and most importantly the concerns of the patients.

Website, Marketing, & More

Not just the IT guy. Modern IT must continue to make contributions outside of the traditional roles to be as successful and valuable as possible. I have been heavily involved in marketing and training initiatives that resulted in great product acceptance and awareness.

I enjoy utilizing creativity wherever I can. Website overhauls, marketing brochures and posters, graphics design, and award programs are just some of the value adds I bring to an organization.

In addition, I've created a variety of new training programs and initiatives. I have created and executed online and in-person curriculum and courses, as well as all of the supporting documentation including class plans, manuals, and quick guides.

I bring more to the table than 1's and 0's.
